Sworg

Terms & Conditions

Version 1.0Last updated September 14, 2026Effective October 1, 2026

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE SWORG APPLICATION. BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT OR USING THE SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SERVICE.

HEALTH AND SAFETY NOTICE: SWORG IS AN ORGANIZATIONAL TOOL, NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND NOT A SOURCE OF MEDICAL, NUTRITIONAL, OR FINANCIAL ADVICE. AI-GENERATED SUGGESTIONS, INFORMATION READ BY AI FROM PHOTOGRAPHS OR DOCUMENTS (INCLUDING PRESCRIPTIONS), AND ALL REMINDERS MUST BE INDEPENDENTLY VERIFIED BY YOU BEFORE YOU RELY ON THEM. SEE SECTIONS 3 AND 4.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and ORCHXTRA TECH PRIVATE LIMITED, a company registered at Bangalore, India (“Sworg,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the Sworg household management application, including its website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By registering for, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. Where the Service presents an acceptance step at sign-up, your acceptance is recorded with the date and the version of these Terms you accepted. If you use the Service on behalf of a household, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that household’s account.

2. Description of the Service

2.1 Features

Sworg is a household management platform that enables households to organize and coordinate domestic life. The Service includes:

  • Shared chores and tasks, including recurring chores and transfer of a chore between household members;

  • Shared shopping, pantry, and inventory lists, including adding items by photographing groceries, shelves, or packaging;

  • Medication tracking, including dose reminders, refill reminders, remaining-supply estimates, and the ability to create medication entries by photographing or scanning a prescription;

  • A finance list for bills, amounts, payees, and due dates, with reminders;

  • A recognition system of points, leaderboards, and household-defined rewards with owner-approved redemptions;

  • An in-app conversational household assistant that can create, change, and delete records in your household and send invitations on your instruction (see Section 3.5);

  • AI-assisted meal planning, including a weekly planner, menus, recipes, and generated shopping lists (see Section 3);

  • Membership of more than one household, with switching between them; and

  • The ability to invite Service Partners — people who work for the household, such as a cook, cleaner, or driver (see Section 6.6).

2.2 Changes to Features

Features vary by subscription tier and may change over time. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at our discretion, provided that material reductions to paid features will be handled as described in Section 8.4.

3. AI-Assisted Features

3.1 How AI Features Work

Several parts of the Service use artificial intelligence and machine learning (“AI Features”). These include meal planning, the conversational household assistant, reading photographs of grocery items, reading prescriptions you photograph or scan, extracting dietary restrictions from documents you upload, and translation and text-to-speech. AI Features are delivered using third-party AI service providers, as described in our Privacy Policy and in Section 13.

3.2 AI Output Is Not Authoritative — You Must Verify

AI-GENERATED OUTPUT IS PROBABILISTIC AND MAY BE INACCURATE, INCOMPLETE, OUTDATED, OR UNSUITABLE FOR YOUR HOUSEHOLD. IT IS PROVIDED FOR CONVENIENCE ONLY AND MUST NOT BE TREATED AS A SOURCE OF TRUTH. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR INDEPENDENTLY REVIEWING AND VERIFYING ANY AI-GENERATED OUTPUT BEFORE ACTING ON IT.

In particular, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • IMAGE AND DOCUMENT READING: where the Service reads a photograph, prescription, or document to extract information — such as a medicine name, strength, schedule, grocery item, or dietary restriction — that extraction is performed by AI and may be wrong, incomplete, or mis-transcribed. You must check every extracted value against the original before relying on it. This applies with particular force to medication names, strengths, and dosing schedules read from a prescription;

  • AI Features do not provide medical, nutritional, dietetic, health, or financial advice, and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified physician, pharmacist, registered dietitian, or other professional;

  • ALLERGEN AND DIETARY SAFETY: Sworg cannot guarantee that a suggested meal, recipe, or ingredient is free of allergens or suitable for any allergy, intolerance, medical condition, religious requirement, or dietary restriction. You must independently check every ingredient and product label. If any household member has a food allergy or medical dietary requirement, do not rely on the Service to keep them safe;

  • Nutritional information, calorie counts, quantities, cooking times, and food-safety guidance generated by AI Features may be inaccurate and must be verified against authoritative sources;

  • AI Features may produce suggestions unsuitable for infants, young children, pregnant or nursing individuals, older adults, or persons with medical conditions, and you are responsible for assessing suitability;

  • You must follow safe food handling, storage, preparation, and cooking practices regardless of what the Service suggests.

3.3 Your Responsibility for Inputs

The quality of AI output depends on the accuracy of the information provided. You are responsible for the accuracy and currency of preferences, restrictions, medication details, and other inputs recorded in the Service, whether typed by you or extracted from an image or document you upload. Household members who record information on behalf of others, including minors, are responsible for ensuring it is accurate.

3.4 No Warranty for AI Features

AI Features are provided “as is,” without warranty of accuracy, suitability, or fitness for any purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any loss, injury, illness, allergic reaction, or damage arising from reliance on AI-generated output. This Section is subject to Sections 15 and 16 and to any rights you have under applicable law that cannot be excluded.

3.5 Assistant Actions on Your Data

The household assistant does not only make suggestions: on your instruction it creates, changes, and deletes records in your household — including list items, chores, inventory, medicine entries, and finance entries — and can send invitations to new members. It shows you the action it proposes to take before acting, and an action can generally be undone for a short period afterwards.

You are responsible for reviewing what the assistant proposes before confirming it. We are not liable for records created, changed, or deleted as a result of an instruction you gave it, including where your instruction was ambiguous and the assistant interpreted it differently from what you intended. Do not instruct the assistant to take an action you have not reviewed.

4. Reminders, Medication, and Finance Records

4.1 Reminders Are a Convenience Only

The Service allows you to create reminders and notifications, including for household chores, medication doses, prescription and medication refills, and bill payments. Reminders depend on factors outside our control, including your device settings, operating system notification permissions and power-saving modes, network connectivity, app updates, your device time zone, and third-party notification services. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY REMINDER WILL BE DELIVERED, DELIVERED ON TIME, DELIVERED ONLY ONCE, OR DELIVERED AT ALL.

4.2 Medication and Health-Related Features

MEDICATION TRACKING, DOSE AND REFILL REMINDERS, AND PRESCRIPTION READING ARE ORGANIZATIONAL CONVENIENCES ONLY. SWORG IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE, IS NOT INTENDED TO DIAGNOSE, TREAT, CURE, OR PREVENT ANY DISEASE, AND IS NOT REGISTERED, CLEARED, OR APPROVED AS A MEDICAL DEVICE BY THE U.S. FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION, THE CENTRAL DRUGS STANDARD CONTROL ORGANISATION (INDIA), OR ANY OTHER REGULATOR.

You further acknowledge that:

  • DO NOT RELY ON SWORG AS YOUR SOLE MEANS OF MANAGING MEDICATION. A missed, duplicated, delayed, or incorrect reminder could contribute to a missed dose, a double dose, or a lapsed prescription. Maintain independent safeguards, and never take or withhold medication solely because the app did or did not prompt you;

  • The Service does not verify dosage, drug interactions, contraindications, prescription validity, or the accuracy of any medication name, strength, schedule, refill date, or remaining-supply calculation. Information is either entered by you or extracted by AI from an image or document you upload; where it is extracted, IT MAY BE INACCURATE AND YOU MUST CONFIRM IT AGAINST THE ORIGINAL PRESCRIPTION OR PACKAGING;

  • Remaining-supply and refill estimates are arithmetic based on the values recorded in the Service. They are not a clinical judgement and do not account for missed, doubled, or unrecorded doses;

  • Always follow the directions of your prescribing physician, pharmacist, and the product labelling. Consult a healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any medication;

  • The Service is not for emergencies. In a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately;

  • Where a household member sets or views medication entries for another person, they are responsible for having that person’s (or their legal guardian’s) authority to do so, and for handling that information lawfully and confidentially.

4.3 Finance Entries and Bill Reminders

Finance entries — including bill names, amounts, payees, and due dates — are records you create for your own organization. They are stored in your household’s shared space and remain visible to those with access until you delete them; they are not transient reminders.

The Service does not connect to any bank, biller, or payment network, does not make payments, does not verify that an amount, payee, or due date is correct, and does not provide financial, tax, or budgeting advice. A missed, late, duplicate, or incorrect payment remains your responsibility regardless of whether the Service reminded you, and WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LATE FEE, INTEREST, PENALTY, SERVICE INTERRUPTION, CREDIT IMPACT, OR OTHER LOSS ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON A REMINDER OR A FINANCE ENTRY.

4.4 Notification Permissions

Reminders require you to grant and maintain notification permissions on your device. If you revoke permissions, enable focus or do-not-disturb modes, or your device is off or offline, reminders may not appear. You are responsible for your device configuration.

5. Eligibility, Age, and Minors

5.1 Who May Create an Account

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Sworg account for yourself, to own a household, or to manage a subscription. Persons under 18 may participate in a household only as described in this Section, and only where an adult household owner has added them.

5.2 Age Categories

When an adult household owner adds a member, the owner records that member’s age category. The Service recognizes three categories:

  • Adults (18 and over): full access, and may hold owner or co-owner roles;

  • Teens (13 to 17): a member account with its own sign-in. A Teen may be assigned chores, use shared lists, and earn recognition points. A Teen may not hold an owner or co-owner role, may not manage billing or subscriptions, and may not invite Service Partners;

  • Children (under 13): a managed profile only, operated under an adult’s account. A managed profile has no separate sign-in, no email address or phone number collected, no access to chat or to the AI assistants, and is limited to chores and recognition points recorded by the adult.

5.3 Household Owner Responsibility and Guardian Consent

An adult household owner who adds a person under 18 to a household represents and confirms that they are that person’s parent or legal guardian, or have the express authority of that person’s parent or legal guardian, and consents on that person’s behalf to these Terms and to the processing described in our Privacy Policy. The Service records that confirmation with the date and the version of these Terms.

The household owner accepts responsibility for:

  • The minor’s use of the Service, including any content the minor contributes to shared household spaces;

  • REVIEWING AND VERIFYING CONTENT SEEN BY THE MINOR. Sworg does not pre-screen or moderate household content. Content in a household is created by that household’s own members and by AI Features responding to their instructions. The household owner is responsible for supervising what the minor is shown, including messages sent by other members, items added to shared lists, and AI-generated meal suggestions, recipes, and assistant responses;

  • Ensuring that any chore, medication entry, or reminder assigned to a minor is appropriate and safe for that minor, including any chore involving equipment, cleaning products, cooking, or medication;

  • Deciding whether the minor should have access to AI Features, and supervising their use of them.

5.4 Content Within the Service

Sworg does not itself contain, publish, or serve mature, violent, sexual, gambling, or otherwise age-inappropriate content. There is no public or cross-household user-generated content, no social feed, no third-party content feed, no user-to-user contact outside a person’s own household, and no advertising. The only content a member sees is content their own household creates, plus output generated by AI Features in response to household instructions.

We apply safety filters to AI Features but cannot guarantee that AI-generated output will be appropriate for every audience in every case. Where a household includes minors, the household owner is responsible for reviewing AI-generated output as set out in Section 5.3.

5.5 Children Under 13

We do not knowingly permit a person under 13 to create an account or provide personal information directly to us. A person under 13 may only be represented as a managed profile created by an adult, as described in Section 5.2, and we treat information about that person as provided by the adult under their parental responsibility, consistent with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn that a person under 13 has created an account, we will terminate it and delete associated personal data.

5.6 Users in India

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) treats every person under 18 as a child and requires verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, and prohibits tracking, behavioural monitoring, and targeted advertising directed at children. For households in India, the guardian confirmation described in Section 5.3 is accompanied by a confirmation sent to the guardian’s verified email address or phone number, and recognition points, leaderboards, and completion history are not applied to members under 18..

6. Accounts, Households, and Roles

6.1 Account Registration and Security

You may sign in using a Google account, an email address with a sign-in link or password, or a phone number with a one-time code. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@thesworg.com of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account where you failed to safeguard your credentials or your phone number.

6.2 Households and Multiple Membership

The Service organizes users into “Households.” You may belong to more than one Household at the same time and switch between them. Content is scoped to the Household you are working in; members of one Household cannot see the content of another Household you belong to.

6.3 Roles

A Household has one owner and may also have co-owners, residents, and Service Partners:

  • Owner: creates the Household, manages members and roles, manages the subscription, approves join requests and reward redemptions, may transfer ownership, and may disband the Household;

  • Co-owner: may perform most owner functions as configured by the owner;

  • Resident: an adult or Teen member of the Household with access to shared content according to the Household’s settings;

  • Service Partner: a worker engaged by the Household, with the restricted access described in Section 6.6.

6.4 Joining, Ownership Transfer, and Disbandment

A person may join a Household by entering an invite code, by following an invite link sent by email or message, or by requesting to join and being approved by an owner. An owner may transfer ownership to another adult member. An owner may disband a Household.

DISBANDING A HOUSEHOLD DELETES ITS SHARED CONTENT FOR EVERY MEMBER OF THAT HOUSEHOLD, including content contributed by other members. This cannot be undone. If you are the sole owner of a Household, you must transfer ownership or disband it before your account can be fully removed (see Section 14).

6.5 Leaving or Removal from a Household

You may leave a Household at any time unless you are its sole owner. Owners may remove members at their discretion. Content you contributed to shared Household spaces — including list items, chores, and uploaded images — remains available to that Household after you leave; your personal account data remains subject to our Privacy Policy.

6.6 Service Partners

A Household owner may invite a Service Partner — a person who works for the Household, such as a cook, cleaner, driver, or other domestic worker — using their phone number. A Service Partner has an account of their own, verified by a one-time code.

A Service Partner sees a restricted view: the tasks assigned to them and the shared lists relevant to their work. A Service Partner does not see the medication entries or finance entries. Household owners can see a Service Partner’s assigned tasks and completion history.

SWORG IS A COORDINATION TOOL ONLY. IT IS NOT AN EMPLOYMENT PLATFORM, A STAFFING AGENCY, OR A MARKETPLACE. We do not introduce workers to households, do not screen, verify, vet, or background-check anyone, do not set, calculate, hold, or process wages, and do not supervise, direct, or control any work. NO EMPLOYMENT, AGENCY, PARTNERSHIP, JOINT VENTURE, OR CONTRACTOR RELATIONSHIP IS CREATED BETWEEN SWORG AND ANY SERVICE PARTNER, OR BETWEEN SWORG AND ANY HOUSEHOLD, BY USE OF THE SERVICE.

The Household and the Service Partner are solely responsible for their arrangement, including pay, hours, conditions, termination, and compliance with all applicable labour, wage, social security, and immigration laws. Any dispute between a Household and a Service Partner is between them, and we have no obligation to mediate or resolve it.

Household owners must not use task assignment, recognition points or ratings to harass, coerce, threaten, or penalize a Service Partner, and must not record a Service Partner’s health, medical, or personal information without that person’s agreement. Before inviting a Service Partner, you must tell them you are adding them to Sworg and obtain their agreement.

6.7 Recognition, Points, and Rewards

The Service includes points, leaderboards, and rewards that a Household may define. POINTS HAVE NO MONETARY VALUE. They are not currency, not a stored-value instrument, and not a wage or part of any wage, and they cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for money. Points may be adjusted or removed by a Household owner or by us. A reward offered within a Household is a matter between Household members; Sworg does not fulfil, guarantee, value, or arbitrate it.

6.8 Sensitive Information in Shared Spaces

Meal preferences may reveal allergies, health conditions, or religious observance; medication entries reveal health information; finance entries reveal financial information. Before entering such information, consider who will be able to see it. Medication entries are visible only to the member they are assigned to and to members expressly given access. You are responsible for information you record about other people, and you represent that you have their consent, or lawful authority in the case of a minor or dependent adult, to do so.

7. Free and Paid Tiers

The free tier includes chores and tasks, shared shopping, pantry and inventory lists, medication tracking, finance tracking, reminders, in-app chat, and recognition points, for a single Household.

The paid tier (“Paid Plan”) adds additional use of the AI assistants — the conversational household assistant and AI-assisted meal planning — and the ability to belong to and manage more than one Household. Current tiers, features, and pricing are described in the app and on our website. Free-tier use of AI Features is subject to fair-use limits disclosed in the app. We reserve the right to change which features belong to which tier; if a feature you paid for is removed from your Paid Plan mid-billing-cycle, you may be entitled to a pro-rata remedy as described in Section 8.4.

8. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

8.1 Who Sells the Subscription

Subscriptions purchased through our website are sold by OrchXtra Tech Private Limited. Payments are processed by RevenueCat, Inc., and we issue invoices and charge applicable taxes, including GST. Subscriptions purchased inside the iOS or Android app are processed by the relevant app store under that store’s terms; cancellation, renewal, and refunds for those purchases are handled by the store and not by us.

8.2 Billing and Auto-Renewal

Paid Plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected). YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize the merchant of record or the applicable app store to charge your chosen payment method on each renewal.

8.3 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase, which will take effect at your next renewal. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before the renewal takes effect.

8.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel at any time through your account settings or, for store purchases, through the app store you bought from. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to paid features until then. Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods. Where a Paid Plan feature is materially withdrawn during a period you have paid for, or where consumer protection law in your jurisdiction (including Indian consumer protection law and applicable U.S. state law) grants you a refund right, we will honor it. Refunds for store purchases are administered by the store.

8.5 Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, the trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel first. Trial terms will be disclosed at sign-up.

9. User Content

“User Content” means any content you submit to the Service, including chores, lists, inventory and pantry items, notes, schedules, meal preferences and dietary information, medication and finance entries, chat messages and attachments, uploaded photographs and documents, and reminder details. You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Sworg a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process User Content solely to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service, including generating AI-assisted output for you and reading images and documents you upload.

Our use of your User Content for AI model training is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use household content, uploaded images, or extracted health information to train AI models, and do not permit our providers to do so.

Content you contribute to a Household — including messages, lists, chores, and uploaded images — remains available to that Household after you leave it. If a Household is disbanded by its owner, its shared content is deleted for all members, including content you contributed. See Section 6.4.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to it and that it does not violate any law or third-party right. Recipes, menus, and other output generated by AI Features are provided for your personal household use; we make no claim of ownership over your use of such output and make no representation that it is original or free of third-party rights.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation, including in the United States and India;

  • Upload or share content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or that harms or exploits minors in any way;

  • Impersonate any person, misrepresent your affiliation, or use another user’s account without permission;

  • Add a person to a Household without their agreement, or misrepresent your relationship to or authority over a minor;

  • Record another person’s health, medication, dietary, or financial information without their consent or lawful authority, or use such information to harass, coerce, or harm them;

  • Upload a prescription or medical document belonging to another person without that person’s consent or lawful authority;

  • Use AI Features to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or intended to cause injury, or attempt to circumvent safety filters applied to AI Features;

  • Present AI-generated output from the Service to third parties as professional medical, nutritional, or financial advice;

  • Use recognition points, task assignment, or reward approval to exert coercive pressure on any household member;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems, or probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities;

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service except as permitted by law, or use the Service or its outputs to develop a competing AI model or dataset;

  • Use an authorized external application or integration to extract household data in bulk, or to act outside the scope you were granted;

  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications, or to harvest data about other users;

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including by introducing malware or excessive load; or

  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent.

We may investigate violations and may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this Section, and may cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Sworg Privacy Policy. We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including U.S. federal and state privacy laws and the DPDP Act.

You acknowledge that meal preferences (including allergies and dietary restrictions), medication entries, prescription images, dietary and medical documents, and finance entries are health-related or financial information; that they may be processed by us and by third-party AI providers to deliver the features you request; and that they may be visible to other Household members according to your settings and the access rules described in Section 6.

Sworg is not a healthcare provider and is not a “covered entity” or “business associate” under the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA); information you record in the Service is not protected health information under HIPAA.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, trademarks (including “Sworg”), and all content other than User Content, is owned by or licensed to OrchXtra Tech Private Limited and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of the United States, India, and other jurisdictions. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial household management purposes in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.

If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use them without obligation to you.

13. Third-Party Services, Integrations, and App Stores

13.1 Third-Party Providers

The Service depends on third-party providers, including our hosting and database provider Supabase, AI features delivered by sending your requests directly to the Gemini API operated by Google LLC (models Gemini 2.5 Flash and Gemini 2.5 Pro), a messaging provider used to deliver one-time sign-in codes (Twilio), a transactional email provider (Resend), push notification services operated by browser and device vendors, payment processing by RevenueCat, Inc., and feedback triage via Google Sheets operated by Google LLC. A current list is maintained in Appendix A to the Privacy Policy. Your use of a third-party service you connect directly is governed by that service’s own terms, and we are not responsible for it.

We do not currently offer a calendar integration. If we add one, we will update these Terms and the Privacy Policy before it launches.

13.2 App Stores

If you download the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store’s terms also apply. In relation to the Apple App Store you acknowledge that: these Terms are between you and Sworg only, and not with Apple; Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the Service; in the event of a failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation; Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the Service, including product liability, regulatory non-compliance, or consumer protection claims; Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any third-party intellectual property infringement claim relating to the Service; you represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list; and APPLE AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES ARE THIRD-PARTY BENEFICIARIES OF THESE TERMS AND WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO ENFORCE THEM AGAINST YOU.

14. Termination and Account Deletion

You may disable access to your account in the app. To request permanent deletion of your personal data, use our Delete My Data page, which is reachable without installing the app, or contact contact@thesworg.com. We may verify your identity before processing a deletion request.

If you are the sole owner of a Household, you must transfer ownership or disband that Household before your account can be fully removed. Content you contributed to a shared Household may remain available to its other members as described in Section 6.5, and we may retain limited records where required by law.

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Where practicable, we will give reasonable notice of discontinuation and, for Paid Plan users, a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees for the unused period. If your account is terminated or the Service is discontinued, all reminders — including medication and bill reminders — will stop; make alternative arrangements. Upon termination, Sections 9, 12, and 15 through 20 survive.

15. Disclaimers

15.3 No Vetting of People

WE DO NOT SCREEN, VET, VERIFY, OR BACKGROUND-CHECK ANY USER, HOUSEHOLD MEMBER, OR SERVICE PARTNER, AND MAKE NO REPRESENTATION ABOUT ANY PERSON’S IDENTITY, CHARACTER, QUALIFICATIONS, OR CONDUCT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DECIDING WHOM TO INVITE INTO YOUR HOUSEHOLD.

15.4 Pilot and Early Access

During any pilot, beta, or early-access period, the Service is provided for evaluation, may be interrupted or reset, and data you enter may be lost. DO NOT USE IT AS YOUR ONLY RECORD OF ANYTHING YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE.

Some jurisdictions, including certain U.S. states and India under consumer protection law, do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; in such cases the above exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SWORG AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY MISSED, DELAYED, OR ERRONEOUS REMINDER; ANY VALUE MIS-EXTRACTED FROM AN IMAGE OR DOCUMENT; ANY ACTION TAKEN BY THE HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANT ON YOUR INSTRUCTION; ANY ACT OR OMISSION OF AN EXTERNAL APPLICATION YOU AUTHORIZED; ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN A HOUSEHOLD AND A SERVICE PARTNER; ANY LATE FEE OR PENALTY; OR ANY RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED OUTPUT.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50 (OR INR EQUIVALENT). NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, FRAUD, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, OR RIGHTS UNDER THE (INDIAN) CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 2019 THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sworg and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content; your violation of these Terms; your recording or sharing of another person’s health, medication, dietary, or financial information without authority; your addition of a person to a Household without their agreement or without authority over a minor; your arrangement with any Service Partner, including any claim relating to employment, wages, or working conditions; your authorization of an external application; or your violation of any law or third-party right, except to the extent caused by our own breach or misconduct.

18.1 Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. 18.2 Jurisdiction. Subject to any non-waivable rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (including the right to approach consumer fora), disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. If you live outside India, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. 18.3 Informal Resolution First. Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at contact@thesworg.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 60 days.

18.4 Informal Resolution First

Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at contact@thesworg.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 60 days.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 15 days’ notice via the app or email before the changes take effect, and each version is recorded in the version history at Appendix A. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may cancel any Paid Plan; if a material change adversely affects a Paid Plan you have prepaid, you may be entitled to a pro-rata refund.

20. General Provisions
